Each lesson in ABC Reading Eggs builds skills in the five key areas needed to become a good reader:
Each lesson is divided into several parts, featuring a wide range
of interesting activities while following a consistent format.
The first two parts of each lesson introduce letters and sounds through vibrant, interactive animations led by a host‑type character, such as Sam the Ant.
Activities build phonemic awareness and phonics skills.
This vocabulary building activity prepares students for reading the e-book at the end of the lesson.
The final part of the lesson is an online book, which features audio support. Children finish the lesson by reading an illustrated e-book. Read-to-me audio options are available to support early readers.
Students are rewarded for completing each lesson with a new creature that hatches and becomes part of their online collection.
